Democrats (and some former supporters) Mock Trump Today

As for the mockery, what else is new...

Ann Coulter's chiding aside (she gets the vapors sometimes) and Cernovich's predictions of doom, what counts is if President Trump can get some funding or some way to get his wall started. I am sure he is considering all options of doing so. We wait and see what will happen.  I agree with Allah, the likelihood of a shutdown again in three weeks is not high. Trump will declare an emergency and make at least some wall happen (until he is shut down by an injunction from some 9th Circuit judge).

In the meantime, the GOP better go scorched earth with the Democrats. That means Cocaine Mitch better figure out how to push through every judicial nomination they can between now and 2020.

NeverTrumper Ann Coulter?

Heartbroken: Can you make the rotation change direction!
[Coulter] repeated a report that the president was seriously considering vetoing the spending legislation, but after White House chief of staff John Kelly explained that such a veto would mean missing his planned weekend at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said “f--- it!” and signed the bill instead.

Was the Las Vegas shooter really a professional gambler?

Ann Counter doubts the shooter was a professional gambler. Speculation (he did play a lot in the casinos), but she has a point. Casinos are not in the business of losing money and will retire video gaming machines that pay out too much.

There are people who claim by careful machine selection and playing the progressives, and knowing the percentage odds make money at video poker. But to make it work is a full time job (and you can make a decent living) but not the type of thing that will typically generate multi-millions as has been reported for Paddock. If you are playing a lot, and know your odds and are not reckless, you can basically not lose money (or make a little) and get plenty of comps to make it worthwhile.  But it is unlikely you will rake in millions.

The outcome of this crime is horrible, but the underlying facts are so odd and atypical (compared to other mass shootings). While the time line keeps changing, we still do not have answers.

Mandalay Bay, where the shooting was, is a MGM property. Wynn's hotels are not that far away.  Steve Wynn admitted they tracked Paddock (he played there frequently), as they do many players, but there was nothing exceptional about him. Wynn also said no one in his casino ever saw Paddock drink.  Granted, I would not expect Paddock to drink while playing, but he did get plenty of comps and opportunities to drink when he was not playing. Others claim he drank heavily. What gives?

Ann Coulter and John Stossel debate...

This is actually an interesting exchange.  I lean more John Stossel than Ann Coulter (Donald Douglas disagrees), but they are discussing issues that make you think.  If only more GOP leaders showed this sort of passion in defending their positions, we would be getting the message out far more effectively and they would be getting elected more often.

Ann Coulter attacks the Tea Party and Jen Rubin, Hugh Hewitt, and Karl Rove all go into panic mode!

Video above pulled but The Blaze got permission from Fox and Friends to have Ann railing on Republican voters in South Carolina.

Ann is not helping Mitt Romney--stop digging Ann!   Mitt Romney needs to persuade GOP voters he is the better candidate over Newt Gingrich.  He has not done so yet.  Jeb Bush is remaining neutral.  No word on Marco Rubio.  Those are probably the only two endorsements that would make any difference now.  Mitt has to save himself. But George Will nails it:  Mitt's problem is not Romneycare but Romneyness.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Rubin is freaking out, Hugh Hewitt is pretending all is well, and Karl Rove advises, don't over read what happened in South Carolina...Really?  Do you think Karl would have said that if Mitt Romney was the big winner yesterday (or if it were even close)?
