World War Z
I have not seen it yet (and I had some serious doubts in advance of this film), but I probably will.
This sums up some of the problems with the film. Still, it is getting okay reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, so Brad Pitt might have saved it from being a $200 million+ disaster.

World War Z (the movie) does not look like it is going to be any good...
I have not seen this film yet. When I saw this trailer early on I knew it strayed considerably from the source material. I liked World War Z the book. Not surprisingly, the movie is (apparently) not an improvement.
Will Smith's After Earth is bombing, perhaps he can commiserate with Brad Pitt.
Update:
How M. Knight Shyamalan became just another director...

World War Z in trouble: Release pushed back and Damon Lindelof brought in for rewrite...
Lindelof brought in to rewrite the movie script for World War Z... Given this movie is already in production and mostly filmed, this is a big deal.
A comment from the Hollywood Reporter story: "Let me get this straight: a screenwriter whose films are considered to have very weak stories is brought in to save a weak story?? Does anyone actually work at the studio know what a story is?"
Okay, that commentator has a point. I, however, liked Prometheus. I agree how Lost ended was disappointing.
