China Collapse and the Housing Market

I like Peter Zeihan videos, but take them with a grain of salt. The China demographic collapse is very real and combined with their massive housing over built, this is going to turn out badly. Communist regimes are not immune from economic reality--which is why they ultimately fail.

The problem is if or rather when China goes down, there will be massive economic disruption in the rest of Asia, North America, and the EU. China may also try to distract with a Taiwan incident.

We can point the blame at Democrats and Republicans, but it is American voters who encouraged this disaster to unfold. I am not sure the disaster can be even averted at this point, only mitigated. Brace for impact.

Still, he is right about inflation and the Fed engaging it agressively. Of course, the Biden Administration could also reverse course and start promoting domestic oil and gas production--but they won't.  

This is all on Biden. Putin is benefiting from Biden. Sure the Russian war on Ukraine made it worse, but the Russian war wouldn't have happened if oil prices were low. Putin saw how this benefited him.  Heck of a job, Brandon!
