I will give Joe Biden credit for following Ronald Reagan's example on this, and calling it what it was. The Turkish Government did perpetuate genocide on the Armenian people in 1915. Hitler used the Turkish example as justification for what he did in WWII. Never Forget.
Of course, when it comes to the current genocide of Uighurs in Western China...many are staying quiet. That is how Democrats roll.

It is amazing how fast the news cycle spins. Last week Trump was selling out the Kurds and in cahoots with Erdoğan. Then facts on the ground changed (showing maybe Trump had made the right choice about pulling back in Syria) and the media quickly moved on.
Now it is Ilhan Omar accepting big donations and voting the way Erdoğan and Turkey wants. The media is mostly ignoring this.

Leon Redbone, RIP
I had not realized Leon was discovered by Bob Dylan back in the early seventies. He was born in Cyprus to Armenia parents. Mr. Redbone became famous in the eighties with appearances on Saturday Night Live. Mr. Redbone considered himself a student of history.
