Nidal Hasan sentenced to death

I am good with the verdict...

I would have voted for life without possibility of parole only because I know Nidal Hasan wants to die.  And he could spend a few decades as a paraplegic contemplating his crimes.  But getting rid of him now is fine too.   

And he still has mandatory appeals.  

Fort Hood Murderer Nidal Hassan is not crazy or insane, he is a follower of an evil belief system...

Which makes him evil too.

He knows right from wrong.  He thinks he is doing right.  As delusional and crazy as that sounds, he did this deliberately for a purpose.  As an act of a traitor.  It is what his twisted sick faith calls him to do.  That does not apply to all Muslims, but it applies to a significant minority of them.  And the sooner we recognize that the better.  

And Hassan should get the death penalty.  The sooner we send him on his way the better.

Mark Steyn asks: Rather than spying on all Americans (and the world), why aren't we more selective and attentive with Muslim radicals?

Mark Steyn is absolutely correct.  I would point out something else.  Schools over react over kindergarten kids even mentioning a gun.  Now compare those over reactions with the non-reaction to the clear signals from Major Hasan (before he began shooting his fellow soldiers)?

Let him represent himself.  

While Nidal Hasan is still collecting his salary.  Hasan's victims get no assistance for this terrorist attack.
