Is Bill Maher A Racist?

Bill Maher is a dick. Maher is also a smug douchebag. He is not particularly funny, but he plays to his audience of the left by making snarky comments about Republicans.  

Maher's recent Popeye comment was racist in tone. I also get it was a joke, but a cheap condesending shot intended to diminish a Black Republican that was not funny. Congressman Hurd handled it fine, but we should call out Maher for it.  

I personally do not like living in a world where making a joke is deemed as some grave sin because it offends someone, but I am damn sure not going to give Democrats and Leftists a pass for the "new rules" they have imposed on the rest of us. If they want to Alinsky us, let's give it right back. If a Republican or conservative made such a joke they would be pillared. Maher thinks he can get a pass because he panders to the left. Remember when Bill Maher used the N-word? Who does he think he is, Quentin Tarantino?  Fuck that: Hold Maher to the same standards Democrats demand.

Not to defend either of them, but Jennifer Rubin showed the type of "racism" that Joe Biden showed when he described Obama as "articulate and clean" in 2007. It is not racism, but it is arguably condescending.

11) If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside. The winner in politics is almost always whoever is on offense. Liberals understand this in an intuitive way that most conservatives don't. We think because we have this wonderful, honest, logical response to a charge that we're scoring major points -- but, except in rare cases, it's not true. If you're spending all of your time refuting the charges that you're extreme, racist, hate women, and despise the poor -- you're losing. That's because some people will assume where there's smoke, there's fire, and disbelieve you no matter how good your explanation may be. Additionally, if you're busy defending yourself, you can't go after the other side. Defend when you absolutely have to, but make sure most of your time is spent attacking relentlessly attacking.

This isn't football, this is war. Heck, even in football it is generally whoever has the football last wins.

Have you noticed the coordinated attacks on conservatives and Republicans?  From selective IRS targeting, to politically motivated prosecutions of conservatives, quoting Republicans out of context, focusing on minor issues to draw attention from much larger Democrat scandals, or specious lawsuits targeted against conservative bloggers, I could go on and on. We really do need to get rid of John Boehner and get someone as Speaker who will fight back.  Because what is predictable is being on the defensive is how you loose elections. We need to go on the offensive. Now.

Democrats are scared. They know the economy is doing poorly. Democrats also know that the fundamental flaws and systemic problems with Obamacare/Affordable Care Act is only going to get worse. But when Democrats get scared, they attack. Fine. Attack back. This is way more important than Republicans winning over Democrats, this is about saving the country. John Hawkins is correct: "The winner in politics is almost always whoever is on offense."

It may be even worse for Gregory and NBC News. According to an e-mail received by The Patriots Perspective website, which originally broke the Gregory story, NBC News had inquired whether it was permitted to use the magazine and was told that it was not permitted. The authenticity of the email has not been verified.

The D.C. law is ridiculous and over the top, but it is the law. We need to force them to play by their own rules.

Let's take a look at this poster.It's red—and that right there, like the darkening water that swirls down Janet Leigh's drain [in Psycho’s famous shower scene], is plenty suggestive. It touts a play called The Love Song of Saul Alinsky, Alinsky being the notorious community organizer from Chicago who wrote books with titles like Reveille for Radicals and Rules for Radicals. On it, fists are raised—meaning insurrection is in the air.And down at the very bottom, crawling across the poster in small print, it mentions the panel discussions that will follow the Sunday performances. The panelists are that era's usual "progressive" suspects: Leon Despres, Monsignor Jack Egan, Studs Terkel . . .
And state senator Barack Obama. [emphasis added] 

Barack Obama has never been vetted. 

Bill Maher claims who the hell is Saul Alinsky...(we conservatives are just making this stuff up he breathlessly claims).   And the left wants to down play any Marxism angle to Alinsky... (although Barack Obama knew who he was since he specifically spoke at The Love Song of Saul Alinsky--I am sure the Red poster was just coincidental),  And Bill Ayers (who Breitbart is referring to above) is just another guy from the neighborhood as Barack Obama claimed in 2008?  In terms of cooking, Breitbart is referring to his dinner that he recently had at Ayers house.  As Andrew noted, Ayers is a hell of a cook but he is still a sociopath.    Which again raises that question as to who really wrote Dreams From My Father?  (Here are two links here and here from Jeff Goldstein and an Andrew McCarthy link).
And as The Other McCain notes, what about this Chicago guy and his family's political past? Just another guy from the neighborhood?
And Richard Fernandez notes:  If it is just so what that Barack Obama was hanging out with all these lefty radicals all those years...why did he go to such steps to hide that in the last election?
