Prosecutors Nifong and Mignini (allegedly) have a lot in common.  Miginini and Prosecutor Angela Corey (George Zimmerman) (allegedly) have a lot in common too.

It is (alleged) that Mignini pursued the Knox prosecution in an attempt to redeem his damaged reputation.  Mignini, the (alleged) Clown of Perugia.

U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz:  One of the New Inspector Javerts...

After going after Reditt founder Aaron Swartz to the point of driving him to suicide, U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Carmen Ortiz tries to seize a hotel from its owner because some guests were busted for drugs there.  Thankfully she failed, but not after forcing the owner to shell out considerable funds in attorney fees.  Turns out her true motivation was the property was not leveraged with debt, so it would have been a windfall for her department.

And of course it is not just Ms. Ortiz.  Environmental prosecutions are out of control.  They decide who is guilty or innocent and use their government power to crush those individuals.  Often times they are guilty of criminal or unethical behavior, considering themselves above the law.  Innocent acts are made criminal.  Normal use of your property is treated as a criminal act.  And God forbid you fall on the wrong side of politics on a criminal charge.

We have to stop these pathological personalities from reaching higher office.  The only way to do so is get the word out and inform your representatives that this sort of behavior by government officials cannot be tolerated.   And yes, we have to go after the biased media too.

Sadly this includes my genitalia; I've spent the last four hours staring fixedly at Carol Vorderman's arse, all to no avail. My tinkywinkleton hasn't even so much as perked up, so if my review seems a bit harsh, it's only because I wanted children.

How to Refuse Police Searches

Other than occasional speeding, I do not break the law.  But you can always be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and this is very good advice.  Never voluntarily consent to a search.  You might be the most law abiding person in the world but someone may have left something in your vehicle you do not know about.  There are certain constitutional protections that are waived if you agree to a search.   Be polite.  But you gain nothing by agreeing to it and lose a lot of protections.  Do not agree to a search.  If you ever are arrested, ask to speak to a lawyer.  Then be quiet.  Again, be polite and cooperative.
