White House Coronavirus Briefing 05 April 2020

Legal Insurrection: Failure of the media week at LI

Keep your self informed, because the media sure won't (at least not without spinning everything the way it wants). The good thing about these daily briefings is the President and White House people get to speak directly to the American people.

You know the ones this applies to...

Ok, I am mixing up the time line of the movie (which many will be rewatching this week), but you get the point. A lot of people did not realize what was coming, partying and celebrating as usual, but Democrats trying to point fingers after the fact against Trump is just tedious and pathetic.

We can question what is the best path going forward. Still, take some of this time during Holy Week and Passover for self reflection and prayer.

Christ's Entry Into Jerusalem

Christ’s Entry into Jerusalem: Jean-Hippolyte Flandrin (circa 1842)

Palm Sunday

Palmesel, 15th century, Franconia, Germany. The German word Palmesel (palm donkey) refers to the statue of Christ on a donkey, mounted on a wheeled platform, which was part of Palm Sunday processions in many German-speaking regions until the Reformation. In the Middle Ages these processions, which reenacted Christ's entry into Jersualem mounted on an ass, were lively pageants in which hymns were sung, palms strewn, and clothes spread on the ground before the Palmesel.
