Karl "The Architect" Rove Supports SCOTUS Birthright Citizenship Decision

Karl is for birthright citizenship...because he's Karl.

Oh I know Karl is not "for" birthright citizenship, he just accepts it as a long time court precedent that we are not going to change readly (I do not disagree). I heard Karl giving the GOPe take on birthright citizenship (posturing as Karl is prone to do). Karl is almost always down on Trump, since he is still carying water for the Bush clan. Pause the doom and gloom: Trump may be more clever on this topic than many are giving him credit for...

Kurt Schlicter makes a good point: Politically this decision may favor the GOP in the midterms. Kurt Schlicter is probably more correct on this than Karl Rove. I am pretty sure Trump going to the SCOTUS oral argument hearing a few months back was a calculated move, not so much to sway the Court, but to frame the argument the way he wanted. Trump has a way of turning a negative decision positive.

Debbie Downer Rove claims Trump is in big trouble. Weird, I checked Rasmussen and President Trump is currently at 47% approval. RCP averages most of them and you currently get 45.2%. I get the impression the media is trying to chill support for Trump by creating a negative message cycle. There are shenanigans going on with Trump approval ratings and Rove is part of that.

Meanwhile we have National Review alumni and perpetual Republican chide David Brooks lauds Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan's actions are "illegal but heroic." Brooks has got to keep his supporters happy with being on the left side of any issue, as a True Conservative™ of course.

Karl Rove Predicts Kamala Momemtum

Is Karl wrong? Karl is often wrong, but probably not about this. While Kamala is still the terrible candidate she has always been, the media is now almost 100 % covering for her and the Democrats. I am not surprised her numbers are way better than Biden's. I also agree Trump's campaign is less discliplined since the race shifted to Harris (from Biden).

Trump needs to focus on substantive issues with Kamala. The border. Oil Policy. The economy. Foriegn policy. Her cover up of Biden's cognitive decline. How her management style is toxic. Her general weirdness. Get her into a debate. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
