Ouch: Brutally Honest. Given the Dems are not picking a Jewish Veep over concerns over Dearborn Democrats is a potential problem given Kamala's husband is Jewish.
A lot of Blacks would prefer Blacks marry Blacks (a lot of them are also not into this whole pronoun lefty gay thing). I do not think that is why Kamala gained no traction with Democrats in 2020, her problems were bigger than that. Pandering to Michigan Muslims by shunning Israel or putting your husband in the closet is not necessarily going to win Michigan for you if you alienate other voters (such as Jews, religious Blacks, etc.). Still, Kamala should just be upfront about her husband.
The biggest hurdle Kamala has is Kamala's horrible record and her being a terrible leader (see above). I got whiplash over the left switch about (and now denying) Kamala being Border Czar of the Biden Administration. The truth is Kamala did not do anything as Border Czar because Biden did not want the border to be anything but open. She needs to address that, not run away from the title she gave herself at the time. The Democrat know they are very vulnerable about Biden's terrible record, especially on the border. Kamala was part of that failure.
Illegal immigration drives down wages and raises housing costs. Which is why most Black, White, and Hispanic Americans oppose open borders. Democrats like it because they hope they can have illegals vote illegally.
Dems are hoping with some enthusiasm and media (dare I say whitewashing) Kamala's problems go away and she sweeps right in. I doubt it. This will be a tough race for both candidates.
