I've never watched any of the Die Hard movies, so I can't comment. However, I will die on the hill that "My Favorite Things" is NOT a Christmas song. So what if it has the phrase "brown paper packages?" How do you know it isn't a song about a wino?
ReplyDelete"My Favorite Things" is a song from a movie and play that doesn't have any Christmas references that I can recall. But the "Sound of Music" used to play on TV during Christmas, so that seems to be the connection. There is also mention of snowflakes. I agree, pretty tenuous.
