What is Fusion GPS and why did Hillary hire Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump?
And if it was just typical op research, why use a lawyer to try to hide it?
Why isn't Mueller going hammer and tongs against Fusion GPS?
The news that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid for research used in the discredited Trump-Russia “dossier” is a bombshell. But even more shocking — and overlooked — is the revelation that the firm the Clinton campaign hired to compile that dossier, Fusion GPS, is the same firm that has been accused in recent congressional testimony of launching a smear campaign in Washington against Sergei Magnitsky, the Russian lawyer who was tortured and killed in a Russian prison in 2009 after uncovering a $230 million tax theft by 23 Kremlin-linked companies and individuals close to President Vladimir Putin.AoSHQ/J.J. Which raises the question no one seems to be asking: Why was Hillary Clinton using an opposition research company with Putin-linked clients to dig up dirt on Donald Trump?
The other lead continues to be the aftermath of the Manafort indictments and the Papadopoulos plea. It should be noted that the first announcements from a special prosecutor are usually the most damning. And in light of what was handed down, it's shaping up to be a big fat nothing-burger. That said, the Left has had so much vested in the Trump/Russia collusion meme that even if Mueller came back and exonerated everyone and called it a day, they would not believe it. They cannot believe it and will continue to use this in every way as a pretext to continue the never ending insurrection. Rush, as always, has a great analysis and so it's worth it to check his remarks from yesterday (not linked).WSJ: The Press Loves Fusion GPS
