Rambo: Last Blood: A Review 🔪




I only went to see this because many on the left are squealing like little girls over it and John Nolte gave it a glowing review. I thought Ad Astra was sort of bleak--but this film is really bleak. 

This film does not pull any punches showing the world of sex trafficking and criminal cartels in Mexico. Nolte is spot on about what this film depicts. While some will claim it is over the top, everything depicted in that film actually happens along the southern border. The main victims of this crime are vulnerable people in Mexico and north of the border. When Cormac McCarthy depicts it, the critics all love it. When Sylvester Stalone does it, they hate it. I don't pay too much attention to the critics.

If you liked Red Dawn--you will probably like this movie. I loved the first Rambo: First Blood and to be fair--this one is not as good. Still, if you just go with the flow--it'a a violent revenge action movie--an R rated version of Swiss Family Robinson (or Home Alone). I saw more than a few grandmothers in the audience--and they weren't all white--and they seemed to like it too.

    If anything, the stuff depicted done by the Cartel are tone down compared to reality.
