Scorsese Snubbed By Oscars


Deadline has the Academy Award nominations, I am not surprised about La La Land, and Hacksaw Ridge (deservedly) got a lot of nominations, but none for Silence? 

Golden Globe Silence snub won't hurt Oscar chances? Apparently not. Both Scorsese and Sully got snubbed by Oscars. 

I can see Fences getting nominated (it was a very good movie and I suspect Viola Davis will win best supporting actress), but Arrival for best picture over Silence and Sully?

    I was told last year that the Oscars are racist, so I won't be watching.
