ReplyDeleteI loved how on the drive in I heard, "the markets are going to have to price in Trump's win"; with futures looking bleak. Except all loses were wiped out by noon, and the market ended higher.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Putin is ready to reset relations to the cooperative and friendly level that existed circa 2008; rather than the war footing of the last few months.
It seems the apocalypse was adverted by Trump winning. Who knew outside of any fly over state in America?
So checked out Drudge Report for something like the dozenth time in the past day. He has a photo of Bill and Hillary, and they are wearing purple. I despise both, because I see them as common criminals stealing money because they can get away with it. But; some credit. Wearing purple (I assume to show that the US is a good mix of red and blue states) I think was a good symbol from two people deeply studied in symbolism. It may just be an act of trying to be classy, but I'll give it to them for the day. Nobody likes to lose, few handle it well, but at some point, you can try to be gracious, and I see an attempt here.
ReplyDeleteNow I hope not to hear from them again, until she puts on a hand on the Bible to recite; "I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and..." which will all be a lie, but I still would like to hear just that.
