Anna Netrebko Cancelled Again?

After all the controversy at the Met just recently, now this? She was slotted to play the emotionally damaged Chinese princess in Turandot (a Chinese fantasy dreamed up by Italian Puccini based on a Persian story)--she was cancelled from that over being Russian. She denounced the Ukraine War, but did not denounce Putin enought to satisfiy the woke Met management.

Now Angel Blue walks from an opera in Vernoa, because Anna Netrebko is playing Aida in the same venue. The Italians are defending Netrebko on this. Weird Angle Blue did not pull out earlier when another woman was playing the same role in similar make up. Putting on Egyptian make up is not blackface. Blackface was a very specific thing, but that above is not it.
