Liz Cheney and Mitch McConnell Are Going Off A Cliff

The "constitution" the GOPe pledges allegiance to involves catering to wealthy donors and corporations, not individuals...also I doubt that is a bible.

Maybe the operators of "the deep state" are a bit freaked out over what happened last week. Ok, I was not a fan of a small percentage of protesters last week acting like jackasses.

But where were Democrats (and the GOPe) when Portland had 100 nights of Antifa lawless turmoil, Seattle had its "summer of love" with CHOP, and Minneapolis, Kenosha, Chicago, and D.C. burned?

Meanwhile the GOPe is silent as Big Tech crushes dissent and silences those they disagree with. It is almost like the GOPe welcomes this (how dare the unwashed masses disrupt their corruption governance). They do not care about individuals. Cheney and Bush sent sons of their supporters off to war without a second thought.

The Democrats have enough votes in the House to move for another impeachment. I recognize that Mitch might not be able to stop a Senate trial (he won't be majority leader soon and there are those Republicans who hate Trump more than they love their constituents and this country) but he is a fool if I think supporting one helps the Republic Party.

Trump is just a man, his gift was he recognized people who are fed up. The Tea Party got branded as racists. Hillary Clinton called anyone supporting Trump "deplorables."  We get it, you hate us. Most Trump supporters (most are not MAGA) just want less government.  Less taxes, less regulation, less wars that just result in morasses (without any upside for the USA) and a GOP that is looking out for them. If that means not voting for Republicans any more, oh well. Why bother, if they are selling us out.

If politicians want to impose law and order, if they do it fairly and objectively, it would be welcomed.  Crack down on Antifa the same as you cracked down on the Proud Boys (they are not equivalents, btw, Antifa is far, far worse). By all means, fairly prosecute them for what they did (that means don't over charge some and decide not to prosecute others on political grounds). If you think voters on the right will tolerate being sold out by Liz Cheney, Mitch McConnell, and Mitt Romney...think again.

  1. If nothing changes the path we are on, it will be interesting for the GOP in 2022 as they look to remain in office, only to find that the people who still think voting for them matters won’t vote for them anyway.

If we’re going to have leftists rule, then we may as well let the Republicans we have go the way of the dodo.
