Democrats are freaking out about President Trump's Baltimore rat comments. This is because they are easily triggered by Trump and (more importantly) they do not want to get blamed for their own malfeasance and poor results. Better to throw down the raaaaacism card (remember there are five 'a's in raaaaacism).
But why aren't Baltimore polticians (who have been Democrats for over fifty years) called out for decades of failed leadership? Baltimore public schools suck and those kids are suffering as a result. The prosecutor's office is completely politicized and incompetent. The drug issues are bad there (Remember HBO's The Wire). Oh yeah, there are lots of rats in Baltimore.
