Why last week's Game of Thrones' 'The Long Night' episode was troublesome and bodes to a bad ending for the entire series... There are spoilers too. Update: Episode 4 is not giving me a lot of hope of where things are going.



Don't even get me going over the spoilers for tonight's episode...

Game of Thrones appeal (at least to me) was complex plots and character arcs (it was more than just this). Unfortunately that complexity is going out the window (sort of like Tomen did) as the show is nearing its conclusion.

The show is rushing to the end the pacing and writing is off. Scenes also do not make logical sense. I would say I would expect better from George R.R. Martin, but he seems stalled in finishing the book series. So it is what it is.
