Frank Sinatra: Mrs. Robinson

As Frank ad-libbed (as a prophet of what was coming): "Foolin' with that young stuff like you do..."

This sexual abuse issue is bigger than Hollywood and the perps aren't just men.

And the cure for this sickness? Masculinity!

Yes, Hollywood is in a witch hunt mode. This is not intended to take away from the women who were abused in Hollywood (that is a real issue). But since perpetrators are being called out, maybe they could also focus some attention on convicted sex offenders too. And let's also not forget those politicians, celebrities, and journalists who covered for the abusers.

And let's remember the problem is not limited to Hollywood:

  1. "This is not intended to take away from the women who were abused in Hollywood"

I think Mayim Bialik had the right take (albeit for the wrong reason; she came at it as a feminist) when she said those women were victimized because they had no integrity.

All that stuff about the Wages of Sin and virtue is its own reward still apply.

Gods Of The Copybook Headings, if you will.

let's also not forget those politicians, celebrities, and journalists who covered for the abusers

Hell most of "those politicians, celebrities, and journalists who covered for the abusers" were abusers themselves. I think there's some kind of Old Boy Network, Men of the World, "Gentlemen"'s code that goes with this. Along with the usual Lefty hypocrisy.

PS All of this still has to be proven. I said it about Cosby and I have to say it about Weinstein.
