Donald Trump gets his compromise plan through the House

I do not want to be too negative about what President Trump and the GOP came up with, they were in a bit of a bind with cutting a deal with their own party (the Democrats of course were complete obstructionists).  Obamacare was in the process of collapsing, so something needed to be done. The GOP better be effective in pointing out they were trying to save a failed system. But Glenn Reynolds is absolutely right: This was not repeal of Obamacare. Although Ace is calling it Repeal Lite.

Now the media and Democrats will try to brand this as Trumpcare. Schumer and the Democrats in the Senate will engage in all sorts of shenanigans. Get ready for that.

Let's just say there are a mixed bag of takes from conservatives and Republicans on the AHCA (at least as it currently stands).  I will wait to see how things play out in the Senate.
