Angela Corey: If you cross me I will crush your head... |
[Ben Kruidbos's ] attorney Wesley White — who resigned from the State Attorney’s Office in December and is a critic of Corey — said the firing was aimed at sending a message to office employees “that if they feel like there is wrongdoing,” they should not disclose it or seek legal guidance from a private attorney.“If they do speak to an attorney, then they are dead,” he said. “The State Attorney’s Office will do whatever is necessary to not only terminate them, but destroy their reputations in the process.”

Legal Insurrection: Andrew Branca on Jury Verdict Watch, commentary on firing...
In a breaking development, the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Angela Corey has fired the IT specialist who blew the whistle on the prosecution’s concealment of evidence:
State Attorney Angela Corey fired her office’s information technology director Friday after he testified last month about being concerned prosecutors did not turn over information to George Zimmerman’s defense team in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.(WAJ adds) This has been a dirty prosecution in so many ways, so no one should be surprised that as soon as the jury went into deliberations the retaliation began.
On the same day attorneys finished their closing arguments in that nationally watched trial, a state attorney investigator went to Ben Kruidbos’ home about 7:30 a.m. to hand-deliver a letter stating Kruidbos “can never again be trusted to step foot in this office.”

Democrats intend to stir the pot and use this to fire up their base. It is not over for George Zimmerman...
Crump fired up this case and has already gotten a big settlement out of Zimmerman's HOA. For him it is about money.
Instapundit and Roger Simon at Pajamas Media had this...
ROGER SIMON: Obama Big Loser In Zimmerman Trial. “By injecting himself in a minor Florida criminal case by implying Martin could be his son, the president of the United States — a former law professor, of all things — disgraced himself and his office, made a mockery of our legal system and exacerbated racial tensions in our country, making them worse than they have been in years. This is the work of a reactionary, someone who consciously/unconsciously wants to push our nation back to the 1950s.” Have you noticed that there seems to be a lot of fifties-nostalgia among today’s left? Forward — to the past!Plus: “Of course, they aren’t the only ones. Almost everyone is a victim in in this case that should never have been tried. George Zimmerman will never live a normal life. The American public has been polarized with emotions stirred up for absolutely no reason. Racism is essentially manufactured, as if it were a commodity.” For some political organizations, it’s a necessity. And: “Congratulations to the jury for not acceding to this tremendous pressure.” Yes, they stood up to the organized pressure better than Chief Justice Roberts.Related: It’s the 50′s again Black Man Acquitted of Murder Powerful & Influential outraged!Posted at 10:48 am by Glenn Reynolds

ReplyDeleteNow that deserves a Hitler video.
ReplyDeleteIt does but Zimmerman deserves a not guilty verdict first...
DeleteAnd he got it.
DeleteIt's just insane. Obviously there needs to be an investigation, from outside her office, over what went down with withholding this evidence. Funny how those who are so ruthless about justice for others are never willing to put themselves up to even a rudimentary level of justice.
ReplyDeleteBut they are probably right. The way that office is, bringing trumped up charges and tampering with evidence... they can't just trust anybody to be on that team.
Florida seems to have a lot of sickness in its government and politics, both dem and GOP.
