Mad Men Season 5 Finale

Daily Beast:  Good recap of Season 5 so far...
Huffington Post:  Another good recap of the season...
One of the more significant scenes (in terms of character and plot development) in the entire series...

But this one probably was discussed more...

Maureen Ryan (in the Huffington Post link) makes a point that she wished more development of the characters Dawn (the "colored" girl working for Draper), more Michael (the first Jewish hire) and more Sal (who left but was the closeted gay man).  I am glad they did not go for a PC message on these characters (which would have been false) and focused on a more realistic development of the characters given the period.  That said, why raise it and not develop the threads?  I am hoping that this was a set up for Season 6 (at least for Dawn and Michael, I doubt Sal is coming back).

It will be interesting to see how Peggy does at the new firm.

As for Pete...isn't he a train wreck waiting to happen?  Then again, this tweet sums it up:

Darin Broton
How many times can Pete get beat up in a season? Correct answer is never enough.
