Based on the true story of Bass Reeves, a U.S. Marshall post civil war in the Indian Territory. Taylor Sheridan produced along with David Oyelowo (who plays Bass Reeves). Big stars like Barry Pepper, Dennis Quaid, and Donald Sutherland are in it (a testiment to the talent Taylor Sheridan brings in to his shows.
Update: As noted, Sheridan did not write this show. It is still good, but not as good as his other work.
