Republicans fall just short in Virginia...why?

Bonchie at RedState has good analsysis on this. With redistricting and Virginia being essentially a Democrat state (due to Dem spillover from D.C. and Maryland), they did better than you might have thought.

The best thing to do is keep fighting and keep trying to persuade voters. Youngkin is an excellent governor.  Sears is a great Lt. Gov. Focus on issues that matter to Virginia.

Look on the bright side, the Dem porn candidate and the Dem pee candidate both lost.  That is something.

You know who does suck?  Ronna McDaniel. The GOP needs to rethink that. Mitt Romney's neice is terrible. We need a better fighter to run the RNC.

  1. Did they REALLY LOSE? Or is this just to "prepare" folks for the greatest election corruption in history planned for Nov. 2024?

  2. One of the major problems in Virginia is that Rich Anderson is a Bush/Rove RINO who seems quite content to lose. It improves their fundraising efforts in the next cycle and raising money is really all they same to care about. Well, they care about disrespecting the conservative base too.

  3. Youngkin sucks. What does he stand for? Ask Mittens, he knows. Yongkins has allowed many community colleges to be renamed after DEI heros while allowing Antifa and BLM folks to destroy confederate memorials after promising they would be preserved. The man is just another Romney. Is you like our senators you'll love this gov. As far as the party GOP goes, they refused to back Ollie North in his senate run. Its been all downhill from there.

The VA GOPe is a bad joke. Its just Obama in a GOP seatshirt.

  4. Immigration. Georgia is going blue, too, as is Texas. Is that do to "spillover" as well?
