Zeihan is a very entertaining speaker. The next collapse he has predicted that actually happens will be his first. Basically he’s a garden variety liberal ( I think that’s necessary travel in his circles).
He will point out re-shoring our industrial capacity needed to happen five years ago, but he won’t notice that Trump was doing that before covid was implemented to undo his economy before the election. Zeihan is too invested in the politics to point out that Biden undid everything Trump started, and it’s likely at the behest of his Chinese paymasters.
I agree. I think he is a garden variety Democrat. Not really lefty, a moderate one, but certainly not one of those icky Republicans (or God forbid MAGA). His demographic analysis is interesting though.
