Special Ops: Lioness



This is a pretty darn good show (at least the first episdoe I watched). Taylor Sheridan produced and wrote it. It stars Zoe Saldana, Laysla De Oliveira, Nicole Kidman, and Jill Wagner. It involved De Oliveira's character (a girl from the hood who wants a new life in the Marine Corps) and Saldana recognizing her talents and mentoring her as a special ops under cover operator.

Like other Sheridan shows--there is decent dialog and compelling story line. Definitely well done. It is on Paramount +.

    The marines did an extensive study on the effect of adding women to combat roles. Women made the teams less effective. Stop pandering to feminist nonsense. Get the women out.

      The show is fiction, but I liked it. I take a 110 lbs woman beating the crap out of a full sized combat male soldier with a grain of salt (about as big as Bonneville). It was still entertaining. As feminist nonsense goes, this was pretty low on my list.
