Waterloo's Warriors

This is an interesting docu-drama on the Battle of Waterloo. It is focused primarily on the Irish and Scottish Highland troops who won the battle, with significant help by Welsh and Prussian troops, that were critical to Great Britain's victory in the battle. Wellington himself was Anglo-Irish. Filmed with great shots of the Belgium battlefields. Well worth watching.

Quite a few wives of officers, NCOs, and even enlisted men followed the troops through Europe.

They often acted as cooks and nurses.
