It is a bit contrived (although it is based on a true story, from the novel done by Lawrence Gerald Durrell), but I am sure being British ex pats in Corfu in the thrities was a blast (till the war started).

    Always nice to see the lovely Keeley, but one minor correction - "The Durrell's " was based on semi-fictionalized books by Gerald Durrell , not Lawrence ( a well respected author in his own right) .
