Is there any truth to the claim that Tuberculosis becomes inactive at elevations under 3,500 or 4,000 feet above sea level?
ReplyDeleteWell lots of people died of it in Paris, which is low elevation. So I am guessing no. I think there is an element of truth that drier climates were slightly better, hence Doc Holiday moving to Arizona and dying in Glenwood Springs (which is well above 4000 feet). Still, it didn't save him (he still died there).
