Mystery Road

Detective Jay Swan (played by Aaron Pedersen) is sent to investigate missing persons who's truck was found along the highway in the outback. Not bad, although I am not through Season 1 yet. Sort of reminded me (a bit) of Tony Hillerman's Navajo series (albeit less mythic) and Longmire. 

And with the Australian outback crime drama, it also pairs well with Firebite. It is on Acorn TV.
