Who are better? Manchin and Sinema or Romney and Ryan? 🤷🏻‍♀️

 


Don Surber: Joe Manchin Saved The Republic

I did not support Manchin's re-election in West Virginia or Sinema getting elected in Arizona. Since they have won, both both appear to be better bipartisans on important issues than Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are. 

I am not fooling myself, Manchin and Sinema are hard core Democrats and definitely on the left of most things. Still, Manchin and Sinema are actually doing the Democrats (and the country) a favor. If the Dems pivoted and triangulated on some of these issues (like Bill Clinton did with Newt Gingrich) it would benefit them in the long run. Biden (well Biden's handlers) are too damn stupid to do that and might double down.  

Update: Manchin's True Colors Come Through, but he is still not as bad as Romney/Ryan.
