Nomadland: A Review

Meh. I found it depressing. It was of course intended to be so, but it is hard to watch. I get it captures a certain harsh truth of the gig economy--which I do not intend to dismiss as fiction--but is everything bad? I like Frances McDormand and David Strathairn as actors, the cinematography was at times very well done, but best picture?  Really?

I did not hate it (it did have it moments), but I did not love it either.

Rotten Tomatoes: Nomadland

EBL: Nomadland : Song of Myself by Walt Whitman
