Greyhound: A Review 🎬🎞️📽️

Greyhound was adapted by and staring Tom Hanks

This is a very good film, depicting the danger of protecting merchant convoys across the North Atlantic in the early years of WWII (before the breaking of the Enigma code and having air cover the whole way). German U-Boats in "Wolf Packs" waited to pick off any ships they could (full of men and equipment bound for Great Britain).  Tom Hanks does an excellent job as the Captain of the Greyhound. I liked Rob Morgan's character too.

It is historical fiction, based on C.S. Forester's (who did the Hornblower series) The Good Shepherd.  It is well researched and realistic. There is some dramatic license, but not a lot.

It is only available on Apple+ TV now. I suspect it will be available for streaming soon on other venues and services.
