You know what is bullshit: When your vehicle is one nanosecond past the meter time on a public street they give you a ticket. If you fail to move your vehicle (when it is parked wrong), they tow and impound it. But if you are homeless* you can pitch your tent anywhere in public.
Heck, in LA, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle, there are fleets of RV and trailers that "homeless" live in too. And the authorities just let it happen.
*Which is mostly having a severe drug/substance abuse problem and mental health issues

In the old days he would have gotten his ass kicked. The law prevents that today in the name of law and order and "civilization." This is what is meant by anarcho-tyranny.
