Chernobyl is a damning account of Soviet bureaucracy, but it is also a damning account of human nature when there is no objective accountability. Credit for Valery Legasov for at least acknowledging the truth about the Chernobyl disaster. RIP to all the victims of that disaster. Thank you to those who heroically mitigated the harm.
I would strongly urge you all to watch HBO's Chernobyl. It is a very powerful miniseries.
