Former Police Officer Mohamed Noor found guilty of third degree murder and manslaughter in death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond

If you want to know how the trial went, Powerline's Scott Johnson was all over this case. While the jury was sympathetic to Noor (he was acquitted of second degree murder), they did convict him of lesser murder and manslaughter charges. A sad and tragic case.

This is an unusual case because the victim was a woman (the vast majority of police shootings involve men). It never should have happened, but it did. My condolences and prayers to the Damond's family. I am sympathetic to Noor too (it was a tragic mistake), but he is alive. Ms. Damond is not.
