Shark Babes


Daily Mail: Shark Dive. Ok, this is an amazing photograph and I am glad it turned out all right for everyone involved, but this is potentially very reckless. I recognize that Ocean Ramsey has done this a lot and is about promoting shark conservation. Still, I would not recommend anyone doing this.

And I am not talking about diving and seeing sharks. That happens while diving and generally is fine (provided you maintain a respectful distance and not baiting them in). I am talking about seeking out great whites when they are feeding on a dead whale for a photo opportunity.

They nurse sharks are typically harmless (but they still have teeth and can bite), swimming with them while you are chumming seems like a disaster waiting to happen

    When I was a kid, this was known as asking for it, if not begging for it.

    She's from South Africa? Maybe somebody should tell her about the Birkenhead Drill, the Royal Navy's counterpart to the USS Indianapolis.
