Carol Channing, RIP

RIP, Miss Channing. 97 years old. She was a TV personality for decades, but she was a real force of nature during her prime on the stage.

  1. Sorry, Evil. I thought that Channing was weird.

    1. No apologies necessary. She was weird. She became an OTT TV celebrity during the sixties and seventies. She had that raspy voice and was sort of nutty (so in small doses she fit in the variety TV format). But unlike a lot of no talent D level celebrities now, she was a really accomplished Broadway star back in the day, and her exaggerated persona lent itself to the stage.
