At Least Trent Franks Is Consistently Pro-Life...

There is nothing wrong with surrogacy, but asking your female staff at work is potentially a problem. How bad this is (or not) really depends on context and how it was asked (see below). Still, even if this is the more innocent kind, there is a reason people seeking surrogates go through a broker.

AoSHQ/J.J. Sefton: Meanwhile, in Minnesota...

Hot Air:  Allah had the line of the week (hell, maybe the year) and Trent Franks resigning for asking staff to be surrogate moms (they say it like it's a bad thing)
Asking a staffer once if you can plant your love potato in her lady-garden is highly inappropriate. Asking her *four times* if you can toss your man-waffle into her she-toaster sounds like obvious harassment.
Powerline: The Strange Case of Trent Franks. Trent Franks says it was just about surrogacy. Was this something more or Speaker Ryan pushing out a conservative he does not like? and What about Bob?

Instapundit: Seems like Politico is trying to oversell this story (but I concur with VodkaPundit, I am not drunk enough for this news cycle), and Trent Franks resigning for discussing surrogacy with his female staff
