Pelosi made a fool of herself defending Conyers (especially after Cokie Robert admitted women knew not get on the elevator with him) and is trying to salvage things by having John Conyers resign. 

So the effort is to send Conyers to the same place they sent Hillary...her Fortress of Solitude.
