National Macaroni and Cheese Day


Eater: We can thank Thomas Jefferson for bringing us this classic comfort food

You owe yourself an awesome bowl of macaroni and cheese today to celebrate this day.  Go someplace that knows how to make it, or better yet, make a bowl yourself (it is easy to do). I prefer excellent Wisconsin cheese, but any decent cheddar will do. 


EBL: Yeah, Jefferson also had a role with the Declaration of Independence and Celebrate Ice Cream (National Ice Cream Day is Sunday July 16)
