Coming Later Next Year: Blade Runner 2049

It looks like it could be good (it will be coming out just before Season 2 of Westworld),
it certainly can't be worse than Lady Ghostbusters

Instapundit: Sci Fi's Problem

EBL: Prometheus was a bit of a disappointment (I liked parts of it), but Ridley Scott did well with another Phillip K. Dick book, Man In The High Castle: Cara Mitsuko, Bella Heathcote, and Alexa Davalos

Prometheus's sequel is coming: Alien: Covenant

Ana de Armas in Blade Runner 2049:

Rule 5 and FMJRA

  1. I saw the original Westworld, first run. I've seen the HBO series. Aside from superior special effects, the HBO series has been to me, quite disappointing. (Spoiler alert! Some of the robots think they're people!!) Yawn.
The major accomplishment of the series seemed to be their ability to make nudity clinical and largely uninteresting.

    1. I have a hard time getting over the whole concept of a park bigger than some states. Why? If this is just a few decades in the future, wouldn't this all be virtual reality (just as a cost savings alone). And even if guests are paying $40K a day, would you let them go wild shooting up all your expensive robot hosts (that cost must be substantial).

And if you are rich looking for extra curricular excitement, would you really trust some corporation to know all your sick dark secrets? Wouldn't you go buy your own "hosts" and abuse them in the privacy of your own home. Jeez, haven't we learned from Al Gore's coco butter incident?
