Unlike that other saint, he is not driving them out
McConnell is actually one of the snakes
There is a conservative candidate in the race who can win. Why not support him? Because the GOP establishment fears it will lose control of "their thing"
Trump may end up winning this thing. But I am more concerned about the Democrats winning. What we should be doing is uniting around Ted Cruz, driving Quislings like Kasich out of the race, and focusing the attack on that Democrat we will be facing (probably Hillary and possibly Biden).
Rush Limbaugh: Delusional, Kasich the Last Best Hope of the Establishment
AoSHQ: What a wonderful time to be alive, How about Trump's favorables with women? That feud with Megan Kelly, it's not helping...
Instapundit: Choose your destructor, How Trump bent TV to his will, Good work Mr. President, Mr. Brooks is confused, OTT (Trump is a symptom of a bigger societial issue), Pelosi on St. Patrick Day, Stop fearing the power of the purse, political hospice care, Good trolling on this
Regular Right Guy: Kasich for the block and Ignore the will of the people
DaTechGuy: Most frightening words heard today...Lindsay Graham hosting a Ted Cruz fundraiser!
Legal Insurrection: Don't Fear The Convention
The Hill: Ryan says contested more likely
Very droll.
ReplyDeleteCruz can win?
DeleteHow?
He couldn't take a single Southern state and, so far, has only taken one in the Midwest.
This does not bode well for November and is more wishful thinking than anything else.
Texas is a southern state. Either Cruz or Trump can win. They both will be facing a very hostile media. It won't be easy. Cruz has an excellent campaign organization. Cruz would be the better president. Trump is better at manipulating the media.
DeleteOnly around Beaumont and places like that is it Southern, most of it is Wild West.
DeleteHow many Tex-Mexicans owned slaves in 1861?
Serious question - and don't tell me it can't happen - what if it becomes obvious the One True Ted has cut a deal with the Whigs?
ReplyDeleteWhat happens then?
