Republican Debate Night in Texas

NYT: Marco gets pugnacious  but is it enough for Los Cubanos?

  1. I honestly don't know why anyone watches these debates or takes them seriously. First, they are NOT debates. They are sound byte opportunities. Second, if you don't know where the candidates stand on the issues via their record and website, you might want to consider not voting. Third, anyone who selects or changes their selection of candidate, based on the "debate" is fairly uninformed. This is why the founding fathers set up the electoral college, state-appointed Senators, and executive branch/Senate confirmation process for the SCOTUS. The common man cannot be trusted to elect quality candidates. This is what it comes to.

    1. Who was that banshee, screaming in the audience for Rubio? What the hell was that ungodly sound emanating from?
