Update 7:35 p.m. from Legal Insurrection: – Mandy’s mom tells me she is out of surgery, and the surgery went well. I can’t tell you how much I miss Mandy and can’t wait until she gets back. Mandy always was the voice of reason around here in an unreasonable world.

Oh, I do understand wish her the best. What TOM said was the most germane: God willing, she’ll live to fight another day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fairly massive stroke. Most strokes are survivable if you get medical attention quickly. Survivable is not the same as no damage. I had a former supervisor and friend suffer one a few years ago, and while he survived, he lost some movement in his right arm (sort of like Senator Dole). On the positive side, my friend can drive and still works. I hope Mandy makes at least as good a recovery.
