You never know what a jury will do...Update: But in this case they did the right thing! George Zimmerman Not Guilty!

A scene from 12 Angry Men, but in the Zimmerman case it is 6 unknown women
The jury decided to call it a night after a few hours of deliberation.  Here is a jury consultant with Megan Kelly on those who were picked.  I am impressed how little has been said about the jurors in the media.  But that also makes me nervous.  This is the one factor that, unless you are in the courtroom, you cannot assess at all.

Update:

Protein Wisdom:  Congratulations to the jury for restoring a modicum of faith in the rule of law...
Legal Insurrection: 5 of the 6 jurors thought Zimmerman was screaming for help on the 911 call.  The 6th was not sure.

  1. This was a great movie and frankly an underrated movie and I'm surprised that none of the cable networks have referred to it at all considering the trial, but then I guess it would be considered propagandist manipulation if any of the sequestered jurors were just happening to watch TV and this was on.

    1. Henry Fonda basically violates every rule that jurors are told to follow. But at least he was trying to get the guy off. Zimmerman almost had two get on the jury trying to sabotage him.

  2. That was the OJ jury.

Sounds like O'Mara was paying attention to that.
