In the early 80s, myself and an oil/gas crew were transferred to Egypt. There were some problems firing up the job so they book us in at the Pyramid hotel.
That evening we were relaxing at the hotel bar and were informed that there was a belly dancing show in the sand. Armed with refreshments we watch the this old worn out gal doing a boring bellydance.
We grew tired of watching this women "dance" so we started shouting "take it off! take it off! All we got was a nip slip
the next day we were asked to check out...
There were only two TV channels with very few programs. As a filler they would broadcast nice looking girls perform the belly dance
