ZZ TOP's first tv appearance was on Johnny Carson's The Tonight Show in 1986, and it's one of the best because not only did Doc Severensen join in with his trumpet, but both he and Carson wore fake beards and sunglasses to really welcome the Texas band for their network debut 🔥 pic.twitter.com/6Q7X6JlFFp
