Robert Mueller seemed a bit frail back during his investigation, so I am not surprised. In a way Robert Mueller was a mini-version of the Biden Administration. Mueller was the nominal "Republican" figure head (with some cognitive decline), but the real decisions and prosecution was done by Democrat operative lawyers behind the scenes trying to gin up a partisan driven case against Trump.
Rod Rosenstein, who was among those recommending Christopher Wray for FBI director, was complicit. It's a reasonable wager that Wm. Barr, whose wife is reportedly a friend of Mueller's wife, knew he was gaga. It's also a reasonable wager that Barr auditioned for the post of Attorney-General to head off a possible reform nominee.
Isn't that convenient.
